We understand that the educational services you provide is crucial to not only your school but also the greater community and for this reason we offer our Hosted Remote Backup and Restore Service which can automatically backup your data as frequently as you like ensuring that in the event of a disaster, you are able to restore right back to where you left off.

Prior to being backed up, your files are encrypted using state of the art 256Bit encryption which ensures that no unauthorised person can view your data and is uploaded via a secured connection to our Data Centre. Once at our Data Centre, a copy is automatically mirrored to our secondary site ensuring that three copies of your data exists: the original and the copy on our primary and secondary sites.

Our technical team cannot read or open your data without the password your used when your account was setup (encryption key). This demonstrates the level of security which encapsulates your data. The service works on all operating systems including Windows, Solaris, Mac OSX and Linux and can backup SQL, MySQL, Exchange, Folders and Files, Oracle, Lotus, Shadow Copy and Windows System State. You may also wish to use the same account to backup multiple servers or computers under different data sets with different retention periods configured.

As required, you are able to restore the data onto as many alternative devices as necessary. It is a good practice to perform test restores every so often to prove to yourself that your data is safe and can be easily restored in the event of a disaster.
